With a career spanning 30 years in UK policing, Barry brings a wealth of experience to the legal arena.
His diverse roles in criminal investigation, counterterrorism, specialist operations, and major crime, including his final role as Area Commander at Thames Valley Police led to his journey into the legal field which culminated in him qualifying in Law in 2008.
After retiring from policing in 2014, Barry continued to serve the community by working for UK charity Police Mutual Society to proactively support the mental, physical and financial wellbeing of the Police staff and their families.
Beyond criminal law, Barry has a keen interest in human rights, tort, and contractual legislation, making him a well-rounded legal professional.
Barry’s expertise extends beyond the legal realm, making him a sought-after national TV expert.

I’m a Law graduate and a member of the Private Client team at Barry Halliday Legal Services. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate important decisions about their future, providing a friendly, professional and approachable service.
As I continue to develop my career in law, I particularly enjoy working within Private Clients and supporting individuals and families with their estate planning needs. I take immense pride in making what can sometimes feel like a complicated process, into as straightforward and comfortable as possible for our clients.

My role within Barry Halliday Legal Services is to make sure all our clients have a seamless onboarding welcome to the company and to assist all our clients with any invoice queries they may have.
